Maybe Kennedy should unceremoniously blanket the media with photos of himself, or maybe he should posture in front of a huge American Flag, maybe kiss some babies or go on a handshaking photo op tour and get people pumped up with rhetorical speeches. But instead of elective office, he wants to put his time into musical performances. This website has been adequately trumpeted though, granted, there could be a sinister plot to redirect web traffic so that nobody sees this website, but barring something of that sort, it's astonishing that the public reaction to this website has been so slow. Ask yourself this: "Can the world really afford to wait, for even one more millisecond, to see if any politician who has global clout will actually give more than lip service to the idea of rising above partisan bickering and not just use it as a campaign strategy? Won't Congress be caught in a cycle of revenge for the foreseeable future unless we use a completely different technique to propel a solution in a unified way? And despite the superficial debates, aren't all American politicians basically beholden to the same handful of major patrons? So isn't the whole electoral process really a red herring? Isn't it finally time for us to use our own power, the power to insist on taking advantage of the concrete, immediate solution chiseled in such clear and definite terms on this website?"

It is a terrible shame that people are resorting to civil disobedience or futile partisanship on the left and on the right when they could instead simply share this website to fulfill all of their demands.

The Most Common Query:

With so much of the current news media focused on macroeconomics and politics, why haven't the big problems been solved yet?

Answer:

The gatekeepers of the discussion are overspecialized; each person's focus is too narrow - nobody is focused on a big picture solution and there's a SHOCKING amount of social and psychological inertia caused by centuries of unfairness, so everyone thinks that a wildly optimistic projection is to envision a world of clunky systems and perpetual inequity, and while humor and short shrift are the media's crutches of choice, everyone is quick to criticize a solution and even quicker to criticize anyone who dares to attempt to propose any way of solving anything. That kind of discussion is the hallmark of the cultural and intellectual decline that is engulfing every aspect of life. On the rare occasions upon which the "experts" make optimistic statements, they are still only talking about patently inequitable best case scenarios in which all of the passengers on a sinking ship are tricked into cheering the inflation of life rafts for the relatively few privileged passengers among them though, due to the whirlpool caused by the sinking ship, those rafts have no chance of ever approaching the nearest land. Obviously, we need to comprehensively reverse the flow of events, immediately. As 2012 unfolds, the resurgent stock market bliss stealing headlines from the growing mortgage massacre is certain to remain one of the most salient facets of the irony with regard to the economy and a very revealing commentary about the direction of corporate media culture.

This website was created in response to that fact - from the perspective of a person who evaded all of the conventional career advisors and chose to not become a politician, so there's nothing typical about the tone.

People understandably think the word "buffoons" is a mild, relatively respectful word to use in describing politicians. Nonetheless, though there are certainly plenty of non-political issues that need to be addressed (and are addressed by this website), everyone faces the fact that political issues need to be addressed.

Any plan that is concerned with a majority, or a fraction, but not 100% of the population is bound to encounter endless obstacles. Concerned with 100% of the population, this website is designed to solve problems IMMEDIATELY, which is clearly faster than the pace of standard politics, and this website is about the GLOBAL solution, pointedly including all of the people regardless of the financial status that they may have at this point in time, whether they happen to presently be among the wealthiest people or whether they happen to presently be among the poorest people, and regardless of which country they call home, but, at the risk of understating the urgency, the best way to frame it is by putting it through the prism of American politics (intentionally oversimplified):

The Republicans think that the only way the world can be great is if there are big winners and big losers.

The Democrats think that the only way the world can be great is if there are no big winners and no big losers.

This website is more Republican than the Republicans and more Democratic than the Democrats because the author of this website (Rockefeller Aldrich Kennedy-Popton) thinks that the only way the world can be great is if there are only big winners because the plan that works best for the disenfranchised is the same plan that will multiply the size of the markets for the large corporations, the wealthy, and the powerful. This website is written in a MUCH MORE UNIFYING TONE than anything written by politicians because the author of this website is not a politician. THE AUTHOR OF THIS WEBSITE IS A DIFFERENT KIND OF LEADER, one who embodies the uncompromising universality of today's highly informed youth, a leader who is not afraid to imply that the long-standing theory that the United States needs to be subject to a national security threat in order to have enough cohesion in the face of domestic secessionist pressures that could position vulnerable states to host the beginning of World War Three is a theory based on a presumption of perpetual discontent and does not apply in a world of universal prosperity. It is also a theory that has been shown to cost many lives and many dollars to the point of near-ruin. We need a new outlook and neither party is providing it. However, this website is providing it. There's a key misconception among American politicians that the economy was fine at some point in the past and that we just need to "get Americans back to work" as if that would be satisfactory. Let this website be the sledgehammer that shatters the misconception. The economy has never been satisfactory and the imperative is to immediately make it grow more explosively than it ever has, carefully avoiding the negative aspects of economic growth. Politicians and the corporate media make it abundantly clear that they are completely different from ordinary people by repeatedly stating that people just want jobs. People don't just want jobs. People want to be properly educated for the jobs that they personally consider optimal. In other words, people want success. It is an inexcusable insult to say that people just want jobs. With the misconception shattered, we can see that impromptu job-creating initiatives are not enough because tweaking the norms will not solve the world's problems. This website is a response to the fact that we need to implement a grand plan, grander than anything thus far contemplated by any politician.

During campaigns, candidates point to ex-Presidents as models but none can claim that those models ever achieved anything akin to the amount of economic growth that today's situation requires. Though politicians can't see that it's time for a new approach, the people can see it and feel it, especially the youngest among us (who are not old enough to believe that ineptitude is acceptable).

Regarding the debate about the size of government, it's not a question of big government or small government, it's not a question of stimulus or austerity, and it's not a question of Keynes or Friedman; it's a question of exactly what we need from government. This website settles that question with zero ambiguity.

On the question of budgets, as on all other questions, the Republicans and Democrats try to make things seem complicated, so ordinary people feel detached from the process. But in reality, it's very simple. The most shocking tragedy of modern American politics is the fact that Republicans and Democrats have repeatedly stated that they believe that the solution is to cut government spending and/or to do what amounts to raising tax rates. One of the core principles of this website is that if we cause an explosive improvement in the economy, the sheer growth of the economy will bring more tax revenue with the tax code that we already have in effect, and furthermore, there's no honor in raising tax rates in any form (with the exception of eliminating illogical deductions and loopholes and taxing new, uncharted, and variably dubious kinds of business activity [in fact, we should be offering more tax credits for growth-oriented investments so that we can reduce the lure of purely speculative trading] - the matter of whether or not we ought to extend temporary tax leniencies and whether or not we ought to be taxing non-salary income is just a sideshow relative to the matter of completely reprioritizing the revenue that we already have and igniting unprecedented explosive economic growth, and a sideshow is not any more amusing than all of the other inside-the-beltway gamesmanship, skirmishes, and posturing amidst the sorely lacking helmsmanship of the global economy) and undeniably one of the best ways for the government to play a role in causing an explosive improvement in the economy is to intelligently change government spending, not to cut it. There are some very basic changes that we need to make in government spending, and those changes are detailed on the main page of this website.

If you think the politicians, in the absence of overwhelming pressure from all of the people, will do any more than give lip service to this undisputable truth, you have not been listening to the tone of the District of Columbia discourse. Rockefeller Aldrich Kennedy-Popton: To do what we must do, in the timeframe in which it must be done, we must all be as resolute about this plan as I have been.

To break free of the hypnotic pendulum that oscillates incessantly between the two biggest political parties, we need to use the insight of this website's laser-precision rock-solid vision to assert such ironic truths as the fact that the Democrats have proven to be no more compassionate than the Republicans because the Democrats imply that people are permanent members of the middle class or of some other class while this website makes clear that we should all be thinking in terms of fast upward social mobility. The Democratic Party's politicians, most of whom are not middle class, are trying to impose a middle class plateau on the people even though a middle class plateau equals failure of the masses. The true character of the American spirit is to continually surpass all plateaus and all limits, therefore it would be mass suicide to try to relive the beginning of the post-World War Two middle class phenomenon. We must not let the politicians lead us to that cliff. We can do better, but more importantly, we must do better without settling for the nearly universal suffering that would accompany the Republican vision, the real Republican vision, not the sugarcoated one that they quickly offer as a chaser after pouring us a concoction of ecological depletion and clubby imperialism. There are many things that politicians don't do, but one thing for which politicians of both ilks have an uncanny knack is underestimating the degree of devastation with such panache as to regularly mortify the people. One side refers to every statistical blip as evidence of recovery and the other side calls for the coronation of the oligarchy of arrogance, bigotry, and greed. Even when the politicians try to sound as if they are tuned in, they sound as if they haven't walked down a street in years. Shall we let them lead us, or should we lead them?

Let us all be reminded that a smile is no substitute for leadership, nor is a "tough guy" look. We will always be able to find someone who can look the part of the classic President with a personable ability to artfully brandish ideological or religious dogma, but when we do that we only serve the gleeful media machine which loves the process as much as pigs love splashing around in the mud.

Here's a very important point: THE ONLY WAY TO ACHIEVE FULL EMPLOYMENT, AND TO PUT FUNDS AND CAPITAL TOWARD GROWTH, IS TO FIND A UNIT OF CREDIT WHOSE VALUE, RELATIVE TO ALL OF THE WORLD'S CURRENCIES, WILL NOT DIMINISH FOR APPROXIMATELY FIFTY YEARS OR LONGER. NO COMMODITY CAN BE THAT UNIT BECAUSE COMMODITIES, BY DEFINITION, ARE EITHER IN TOO SHORT SUPPLY OR THEIR VALUE IS POTENTIALLY VOLATILE. ELECTION YEARS ARE USUALLY CHARACTERIZED BY LEGISLATIVE PARALYSIS, BUT IN 2012, THE CONGRESS AND THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES MUST TAKE ACTION UPON THE COLD HARD REALITY THAT SETTING THE UNITED STATES ON A DEFINITE COURSE IN ORDER TO ESTABLISH THE DOLLAR AS THAT UNIT IS A MATTER THAT CAN NOT WAIT. NO OTHER COUNTRY HAS THE HISTORY OR THE MECHANISMS TO CREDIBLY CREATE SUCH A UNIT OF CREDIT, AND NO BRETTON WOODS TYPE OF AGREEMENT IS NECESSARY TO CONFIRM THE PRACTICAL USEFULNESS OF A UNIT STRONG ENOUGH TO ALLOW INNOVATORS, ENTREPRENEURS, AND PROPERTY OWNERS IN EVERY COUNTRY TO BENEFIT FROM THE GREAT VARIETY OF INTERNATIONAL VENTURE CAPITALISTS AND INVESTORS. THE VALUE OF INVESTMENTS MUST BE BASED ON AN ACTUAL NATIONAL CURRENCY AND NOT ON A MATHEMATICAL FORMULA BECAUSE POLITICAL STABILITY IS AN ESSENTIAL PART OF ECONOMIC CERTAINTY. The economy thrives on certainty, and the economy falls apart on uncertainty. The economy can not thrive in the midst of an ongoing fight with an ever-uncertain outcome, nor can the country's credit rating withstand that amount of uncertainty. That's why this website is so necessary; it provides a way for Republicans and Democrats to commit to one clear certain path forward, not a compromise (which, by definition, must fall short of both sides' ideals), but a bold direction that suits both sides. And it doesn't require a sacrifice of principles, it just requires that the parties adjust their tactics.

THE REAL SITUATION: In a virtually un-American act of aiming dismally low, the parties have looked no further than 2013 in their negotiations regarding the debt ceiling and neither party has proposed a plan for explosive economic growth or the achievement of America's true heartfelt ideals. The Federal Reserve's commitment to refrain from raising interest rates any sooner than 2014 is no less than the maximum reasonable time frame for a central bank action but it only hints at the kind of measures that entire governments should be taking. What the business world needs from the government is a sense of certainty that extends many years or decades further into the future in order to justify the kinds of investments that an actual economic turnaround requires. The debt ceiling is a notion that was transformed into law at the beginning of the twentieth century when all of the factors of political science and economics were patently alien to today's reality. Today, we need to get the debt ceiling question out of the way, not just for a short while, but for many, many years into the future, and we need to focus on a definite, well understood, ambitious plan for real prosperity instead of a low-aiming short-term patch. The kind of plan that we need is one that makes war unlikely by involving the whole world in a mutually uplifting economic incline carefully designed to protect every country's cultures and values. To do anything less is simply feeble-minded and today's youth knows that students are numerous enough to veto anything too feeble to free them from a future of carrying a burdensome load. There's no doubt that students are absolutely right to demand a bright future, and they will get the whole world's support in their veto.

SO HOW DO WE BREAK THE ICE? Simple: The one doable maneuver that will send all of the right signals to the credit rating agencies and to the world in a profound way is to produce a surprise joint bill to slash the defense budget (not because we seek to reduce overall government spending, but because we need to put that enormous block of spending toward purposes that directly enhance economic growth) and raise the debt ceiling in such a way as to not need to raise it again until at least 2014, including in the bill a commitment to create a committee to study a longer-term raising of the debt ceiling or an abolition of the debt ceiling law and another committee charged with producing a comprehensive plan for explosive long-term economic growth. All of the elements of the surprise joint bill are essential. The defense budget of the United States is larger than the total COMBINATION of all of the defense budgets of the other countries in the world even though the United States has only five percent of the world's population. And the United States doesn't really need to outspend the rest of the world because the United States has the advantage of experience, strategic alliances, and technology. If we concentrate on creating a private sector atmosphere in which the communities that are dependent on military spending can dedicate their expertise to non-military enterprises, technology will advance and become more affordable in general, benefiting the entire economy. Such a surprise bill would be strikingly unique in that it would not rely on the standard trick of dismantling vital parts of government that will inevitably be reestablished. Despite the achievement of a lesser bill, it would be dangerously unwise to assume that timid initial steps make it any less urgent to go the distance to avert a devastating credit rating downgrade that would create a gaping economic leadership vacuum in the space vacated by the United States.

Our absurd criminal justice system, our neglected economy, and the corporate monopolization of our media infrastructure have directly raised the cost of our military efforts because we face much more stubborn resistance abroad when the rest of the world knows that we do not stand for freedom and democracy at home. Politicians naturally seize the opportunity to appear concerned about those who would suffer from a government financial default, but if politicians were in a position to tell you the truth, they would tell you that the real reason for raising the debt ceiling is that if the United States doesn't exhibit financial responsibility to the rest of the world, the United States can not demand financial responsibility from the rest of the world. But obviously we can not allow the debt to grow continuously, so this website delivers a firm recourse.

And this website goes beyond economics and politics. An image to convey a spirit of communication.

A CANDID TALK ABOUT MY USE OF THE WEB
by Rockefeller Aldrich Kennedy-Popton

There's something very odd about asking people to "like" you and, even worse, offering people compensation for liking you. And that oddness gets to the bare truth about the whole social media empire. I realize that my absence from social web use is an issue. But there is a very good reason for my non-use of social media. I can be reached by email at r_kennedy@rock.com and there are established contacts that can be reached for inquiries - if you would like to reach them, see pages like http://www.prweb.com/releases/2010/10/prweb4646214.htm or you can look them up in standard directories. It's not only that the way social media forces everyone to divide people into lists destroys the sense of global unity, or that I find the unhuman uniformity inappropriate. It's easy to see that the current worldwide crisis is due in part to the fact that social media has allowed a rudderless, insatiable appetite for diaries to supplant the pursuit of substance. If I were to have an active presence on sites like Facebook or Twitter, I would only be willing to talk about clarity and concreteness, because I believe that leadership is about just those two things. So it would really only be verbiage, since I have already, in the preceding sentence, said all there is to say about the only two things that I would be willing to talk about. Leadership isn't just a job for me, it's reality, 24 hours a day. I'm never "off duty." And if I were to use social media to chronicle my every thought and my every move, I would be taking attention away from what really matters. My final statement on the issue is that I certainly don't think my friends want me to try to predetermine what they should like and I don't enjoy rating everything that I experience; I don't want to be part of that whole geeky world even though I acknowledge that there are some legitimate uses of social media despite the fact that when social networking is hyped solely for marketing, it becomes socially destructive in the extreme because it causes a cliquish perspective. If, for some reason, you want to know the very latest about what I'm doing, the answer is always the same: "I'm busy reading about Nikola Tesla, Homer, Thomas Edison, Dante Alighieri, etc. (and not searching Facebook or Twitter to find out what my friends had for breakfast)." My favorite movie of all time?
Notting Hill. My favorite periodical? The New Yorker, of course.

I also realize that hacking is an issue. I have long believed that I didn't need to worry about being hacked, since I had no enemies, everything that I do is to everyone's benefit. But now, as I have noticed evidence of having been repeatedly hacked, I understand that there are governments and individuals that may have motivations such as a desire to maintain control over people's lives, jingoistic supremacy, egoism, monetary gain, or unprofessional journalism and some people are even capable of thinking that it would just be fun to cause trouble. So I am beginning to face the fact that I will have no choice but to do the tedious work of anti-hacking. I HEREBY CALL EVERYONE TO EMERGENCY VIGILANT ACTION AGAINST OPPONENTS OF, AND VIOLATORS OF, NET NEUTRALITY ESPECIALLY SINCE, IN ADDITION TO THE FACT THAT SOME CORPORATIONS ARE THE PUPPETEERS BEHIND GOVERNMENTS USING THE EXCUSE OF "NATIONAL SECURITY" TO CENSOR AND ERASE ALL PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE RECORDS OF CERTAIN STORIES, SOME CORPORATIONS CONTROL VIRTUALLY ALL ACCESS TO INFORMATION BY OWNING TELEVISION NETWORKS WHILE ALSO OWNING INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDERS AND VARIOUS OTHER KINDS OF MEDIA COMPANIES (WHICH MEANS THAT THEY DECIDE WHICH EMAIL I AM ALLOWED TO RECEIVE AND WHICH CONTENT, ON WHICH WEBSITES, I AM ALLOWED TO SEE) AND ALREADY SECRETLY SHUFFLING ANTI-NEUTRALITY PROVISIONS INTO UNRELATED LEGISLATION THAT IS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING PASSED. To anyone who has suffered from inconveniences or a lack of access to any of my material due to my lack of anti-hacking in the past, I apologize. Hacking becomes a very serious matter when you realize that it is possible to hold back a whole ethnic group, a whole segment of society, a whole country, and/or the whole world by just slowing down its computers. And computer companies can have the same effect as hackers by selectively distributing problematic products. Don't underestimate this issue; it affects most people in ways that are hard to face. One of the objectives of this website is to eliminate the motivation behind that kind of hacking.

A Special Message from Rockefeller Aldrich Kennedy-Popton at the Holiday Season of 2011:

All religions have some version of the story and some say that Santa Claus is the antichrist, destroyer of the true meaning of Christianity, symbol of materialism, fulfiller of the prophesies about one who "will seemingly provide for the needs of the people but deny them ultimate salvation." Even if not, and even if you don't believe in or care about Christianity, let us simply annihilate the problem by collectively redefining Santa Claus so that we can enjoy his tradition without destroying humanity's most wholesome values. From now on, let us say that Santa Claus comes each year to urge us to study about how to be good, not primarily to bring us gifts.

A Personal Note:

Happy Holidays to All of the Members of
